The Next Generation of Great Players

Our Goalkeeper is none other than Thiabaut Courtois. The Chelsea keeper had a outstanding season on loan at Atlético Madrid last season, and he returned to London to take his spot as Chelsea's first-choice shot stopper. Last season, he won La Liga, and to this day Lionel Messi has never scored against him. He had a decent world cup with Belgium, but was eliminated in the quarter finals against Argentina. He has been doing quite well with Chelsea, and is a major part of their current BPL spot in 1st place.  And, at only 22 years of age, he has many more years to come, and many more titles to be one.

Our first centre back is Raphaël Varane. He has already made quite a name for himself at Real Madrid. A centre back who is not afraid of getting hurt or dirty, he plays like Puyol: He will die before the ball ends up in his net. He was also one of the two French centre backs during the world cup. He has already one the Champions League, and three league titles in his career, and was a key component in every win. At only 21 years of age, we can look forward to see Varane develop further as a player, and win more trophies.

Our next centre back is Marquinhos. The PSG centre back has been a good backup for the likes of Thiago Silva, Alex and David Luiz. He has made his appearances here and their, but mostly only plays when the first choice centre back is injured. He has  played for his national team minimal times, which is Brazil. In my opinion, he could have stopped a couple goals in their humiliating 7-1 loss to Germany. At only 20 years of age, he still has time to become PSG's first choice centre back, and is already on the radar of major teams, like Bayern Munich or Barcelona.

Our third and final centre back is Kurt Zouma. He made a big money move from St. Étienne to Chelsea last January, when he was only 19. Now, at 20, he has made his occasional appearance for the blues, and has made quite the impression. He plays like a mixture of Sergio Ramos and Puyol. Sometimes, he can be sort of thuggish, other times he is trying his heart out to stop the ball from going near his goal. He has many more years to prove that he should be Chelsea's number one centre back.

Our first centre midfielder is Paul Pogba. He was a great young talent back at Manchester United, but Ferguson sold him to Juventus back in 2012. From there, he began to blossom, and is now one of the youngest prodigy's in the world. He went from United reserve player to Ballon D'or shortlisted player in three years. He had a good world cup with France, and was even nominated for the Goal of the Year, which you can see below. At a mere 21 years old, we are lucky to get to see him develop further, and maybe even see a big money transfer to one of the world top teams.

Our second central midfielder is Alen Halilović. The young Croatian midfielder has  played for his national team 7 times at, and moved from Dynamo Zagreb to   FC Barcelona B in 2014
. He has had one or two call ups to the first team, but has never been made a permanent player. He has often been compared to amazing midfielders like Iniesta, Ivan Rakitić, Xavi and Luka Modrić. He is only 18, and has time to take his spot as the starting midfielder on FC Barcelona.

Our right midfielder is Raheem Sterling. The Liverpool midfielder has already been on the watch list of Real Madrid for quite some time now. He is small and quick, which makes him a deadly winger. He also has very fancy feet, and a good shot. He played for England in the world cup, but didn't really do anything. Still, a move to Real Madrid could benifite both the Spanish Giants, and the 20 year old speed demon.

Our left midfielder is Stephan El Shaarawy. He has moved up the ranks at AC Milan, and has been crucial for them over the past few years. He has been on the radar of clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester United & City, Chelsea and Real Madrid. He has made 10 caps, but was not taken to Brazil by the Italy manager, a choice he will most likely regret. At 22 years old, he is likely to leave Milan for a bigger and better club soon.

Our central attacking midfielder is Ross Barkley. The Everton prodigy has been making quite the name for himself, whether ion his club football, or for England. A stocky midfielder with a good shot,  he has always been on the watch list of Manchester United since he first stepped on a football pitch. He has made 10 caps for England, but has never scored yet. He is one of  Everton's key players, and is soon expected to make a big money move to Chelsea. Like most of the players on this list, he is only 21, and has time to become on of the best players in the world.

Our first striker is the young French forward known as Alexandre Lacazette. He has made quite a name for himself in the French league playing for Lyon, and on the international level. He has only made a few appearances for France, and he hasn't done much, but he has scored a ton of goals for the U 21 team. A popular choice for a young striker with potential, and at the age of 23, he can become the amazing player we all know and love.

Our final forward comes with a debate on whether or not he should be on this list. I am talking about Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior. He made quite a name for himself as a deadly forward back at Santos, known for his quick feet and amazing skill. In the summer of 2013, he moved to Spanish Giants Barcelona. From there he blossomed, and scored many crucial goals last season, and was the only Barcelona player to score against Atlético Madrid. He had a outstanding world cup, but was ruled out of the semi final with a back injury. This season, he has been scoring like mad, and is the top scorer in 2015, as of Feburary 1st, 2015. The reason their is a debate on whether he should be on this squad is because he has already left hi childhood club to join a top team, and he is debatably in the prime of his career. But, i still think that the 22 year old Brazilian has more potential in him, and we can expect him to be winning the many more awards in the future.
